This camera works pretty well during the day, but only Records at four second intervals. Even if somebody drives past or walks past, you still only get four seconds and there’s no way to adjust it. It does record all night long, but there is a glare from the camera in the window, as seen in the pictures below, kinda looks purple or blue. Amazing. Presumably this camera's color night vision is generated mostly through very sensitive, high resolution sensor with some post-processing, apparently involving AI. The bottom line is that it works without requiring any IR illuminator. Which means it can shoot through the window without blinding itself with reflected light from its own illuminator beam. We’ve been looking for a long time for cameras that don’t require a monthly subscription during our retirement. We were so impressed with the picture quality both day and night, in color too. It has all the good features and perks as well. We like that we can take it in our camper with us when we are traveling. Even at our age, we were able to hook it up with no problems at all.

No way 4k. Lucky if 1080p. Positive: decent night visibility and good motion detection. Negative, image quality is lackluster at best, poor resolution. Can’t make out details or faces that are more than 25 feet away. Zooming in only makes more blurry. No way is this 4k. Not a happy camper. Especially the way it is described.
