I’m replacing a smaller rice cooker that I justdid not love, as it was never consistent. I’ve used this several times and love the results. It’s super easy to use, intuitive control panel that goes away when it’s not in use, so it’s good looking when it’s sitting on the counter. It’s really impressive. I’ve made white and brown rice, both with consistent results. It’s one touch operation literally means pouring in your rice, water and go about cooking the rest of your meal. It’s done perfectly. This Martha rice cooker is amazing! It’s very easy to use—the buttons and settings are simple, and the instructions are clear and straightforward.The color is beautiful and matches the photos perfectly, which I love for my kitchen.It’s also very spacious and can hold a good amount of food, which is perfect since we eat rice daily. I was happy with how this appliance functions, but the cosmetic quality is terrible. After just a short period of normal use, the finish on the lid around the steam vent has completely faded and discolored. I had to return the product.

Cooks well and non stick is good but the bowl is surprisingly easy to chip. I’d say to treat it like glass but realistically, glass is more durable. Disappointed in the quality for the price.

I must say, this is an absolute must have rice cooker. It is very elegant on the counter, and I'm sure there's other things to cook in it. I washed mine, made steamed rice and it was perfect. This is my first rice cooker so I’m not sure how it stacks up against others, but once I learned how to actually use it, it’s been very convenient and the rice comes out nearly perfect every time. The times the bottom dries out a little more on the very bottom are almost definitely user error. The warm feature works very well. My only complaint is the bowl has already developed a chip, probably from other dishes in the sink, and I haven’t been able to find a replacement bowl for this one though they seem to exist for more expensive models.
