Midea Slow Cooker with 10 Functions, 8-Cups Uncooked Rice Cooker

Bought this to replace our old rice cooker and we're happy with it. The 8-cup capacity is perfect for our family, and the nonstick pot makes cleanup super easy. Love that it has settings for quinoa and oats, not just rice. The keep-warm feature works well. It feels a bit bulky on the counter, but the glass lid and handle are nice touches. Definitely worth it.

I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but this rice cooker has been a great purchase for my family. One of my favorite features is the transparent glass lid. I like being able to check on the rice without lifting the lid and letting the steam out. It’s a simple feature, but it’s surprisingly useful. I was also pleasantly surprised by how many accessories it comes with. Everything you need is included, so you can start using it right away. The extras are practical and make the whole cooking experience more convenient. The coated inner pot is easy to clean, and nothing has stuck to it so far.

We decided to get a rice cooker because my spouse - who is an excellent cook - has a real problem cooking rice for some reason. So much so that it has gotten to the point a few times where he would cook the entire meal but the rice and I would have to cook the rice. Some of the more forgiving types of rice he could cook OK some of the time, but just not consistently. Enter the rice cooker!The pros:1. Set it and forget it. That's why you get a rice cooker right? It doesn't cook the rice faster, but it does take a large portion of the "human error" out of it.2. Hands down the most perfectly cook

I love this Midea Rick cooker, many functions, so easy to operate, I love it come with the steamer rack, so I can cook Rick and prepare steam food at the same time. Save me a lot work, and they are very easy to wipe clean. The also easy to cook rib soup and many other features I’ll continue to explore.

I also like that it can be used to cook different types of rice and other foods. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much space in the kitchen. there has to be a way to cook this much rice in a smaller device and much smaller footprint...it takes up a massive amount of counter spacethat said, it does a great job both in terms of quality of the end product and the range of possible applications; Midea is a very solid company and this is no exception, though the manual could be much better; I have to say I have thus far only tried it with Basmati and American rice
