I have built many system with this MSI MAG Tomahawk motherboard with great success. One feature on the BIOS I liked the most is the memory over lock feature, if you messed up or clocking too fast the motherboard automatically reset the CMOS back to default and you can restart the motherboard without have to remove the CMOS battery or no POST. The Tomahawk series works well for both Intel and AMD processors.

I have been working with and building pc's for over 35 years, this motherboard is just horrible.When you're in the bios it's like the system is a Celeron, there is a tremendous lag in the menus.Also, it takes a few minutes to post even with the correct memory settings, when in windows it was justlagging, I had enough and returned the motherboard. I think the motherboard is just defective as I have purchased MSI motherboards in the past with zero issues, just do some research as apparently this is a known issue.
This is a very good motherboard. MSI did a very good job on this board. I wish it had over clocking ability for CPU on the board but other than that it's a very good performance. I'm using the Intel version bord
