The MSI Meg Z890 unify x is a fantastic board has all the functions that I need also six M2 slots which is awesome. The board is fantastic. I paired it with an ultra 7 270 K plus CPU and the board is fast and fantastic. It has a little OC remote that hooks up to the board through a little ribbon cable you can press power to power on the board has reset also has OC buttons to overclock your CPU of memory it has a metal backing plate on it. This is a truly high end motherboard.If you're into RGB, get the carbon. It boots really fast. I paired it with a 270k plusNo HDMI in the back but thunderbolt does the trick. Runs cool. 2 sticks of RAM not 4 so try to figure out how much RAM you'll need from the start. I hate AI.Thanks to Amazon it's $399. The closest competitor is the Asus Apex.I don't use it to overclock the CPU, however I use it as a high end desktop. It uses all PCIe lanes from both CPU and chipset better than any other board.You can stack 2 GPUs and a thunderbolt 5 card on this board.If you have RGB fans the mirror finish

Nice Z890 Motherboard
Nice board, it is a bit nicer overall than the previous Z690 Unify-X and has more features than the comparable Gigabyte and Asus models. Bios is easy to use and it works great with my 285K and G.Skill 8800MT/S CU-DIMMs. It is surprising that it has 6 M.2 slots even more than some mainstream boards which is interesting since it is an OC focused board.

Best overclocking features i have seen in a motherboard. Easy to tweak for newbies and experienced users. Only complaint was that I had to update the BIOS before it would post with the memory I installed.

Awesome features, horrible instructions and couldn't get unit online without a bios update first.
When you buy an expensive motherboard, please include at least a diagram of the connections on the motherboard and don't make me grab my iPad to have to look it up online. And I almost returned this Motherboard because after installing Windows 11 I couldn't get connected wired or wireless. I thought it was broke, but it just needed the bios updated. Not a way to build customer loyalty. Next build I am going back to Gigabyte and Corsair.
