Bought our first one May 2020 and now it's finally throwing an error a mere 6 whole years later, that the jar isn't on, when the jar is on. This is also after repeated, nearly constant abuse from multiple foreign exchange students who didn't follow the directions, nightly 4 cheese alfredo melting/processing, we beat the he'll (without the apostrophe) out of this thing, we are replacing it with an identical model. I like to make raw food from my cats (Note: I haven't done bones in the blender and don't plan to! Can't buy replacement blades, you have to purchase a brand new carafe since it's all attached so don't dull them!) and it has taken an arduous 2 hour process with my old oster blender and me mostly cutting manually to about 30 minutes. Processes chicken thighs like a charm! Just make sure there's ample water. Also have made soups in it and I really enjoy having the hot blender! It arrived three days early—it’s truly amazing! It blends seeds really well; my smoothie came out perfect. It’s not very noisy, it’s large, and the jar is a bit heavier because it’s glass, but that’s not a problem for me.It’s easy to clean.The heating function is powerful and heats up quickly.

This thing is so great!!!! I had a blender from Target previously and the motor on that one died (actually you could smell burning and it likely would have caught on fire eventually). I wanted something that was strong enough to blend a smoothie that might have ice or frozen fruit and was nervous this would break too. It's STRONG. I make smoothies all the time in it. I ordered this 11/2020. I absolutely loved this blender. Just last week I got the E01 error. I am so sad. I made homemade enchilada salsa using the cook features along with other types of salsa. This was a powerful blender. We made smoothis as well and natural juices such as raw carrot juice and I would just use a nut bag to strain. Yes this was a heavy blender but it was very durable. The glass jar was perfect. The cleaning feature was great. I found that if you clean it right away there was no issue. So about 3.5 years in, the jar started leaking at the bottom. I love this blender! I received a vitamix blender as a gift years ago. I loved the features it offered; however, I couldn’t justify paying $500+ for a blender.
