REOLINK 3K Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor Dual-Band WiFi 6, Argus Solar

So far, so good. I've returned several of Reolink's 360 "auto tracking" cameras because they didn't consistently detect motion nor tracking automatically. Decided to try out their solar powered static cameras and I'm impressed with their performance. Consistently detects motion up to 30 feet away, day or night. My big concern was how well the solar panel kept the battery charged. After about a week of use, the batteries have remained at 100% charge. I've had this camera up for about 2 months now. In partial sunlight it gets to 100% charge each day. It is a good quality feed and a decently wide angle without making things too stretched out.I specifically went with the Reolink brand because I thought it would work with my Home Assistant setup. Unfortunately, Reolink wired cameras work really well with Home Assistant but wireless ones like this apparently aren't compatible. I have setup over a dozen different Reolink cameras to date. One of the BIGGEST pain points was trying to get the camera to scan the QR code your phone would generate. At least with the wifi only ones it was such a pain. This setup via Bluetooth in a few seconds. The quality is way better than my old Reolink Argus. The Motion detection is perfect for my dogs and backyard where I have it set up. The 5ghz wifi seems to have a better and more reliable connection than the old Argus version and loads extremely fast. So far, so good. Put it on the side of the house that doesn't get a lot of sun. However, not much activity either. The combination turned out to be a perfect mix. The camera gives okay video and the solar panel keeps it charged at 100% all the time. If you have an out of the way place that gets a few hours of sun each day I'm sure you'll be happy too.

As per an email from a Riolink employee somewhere in China, "We are not allowed to accept incoming calls or make outbound calls." Very AVERAGE camera and features. This is my second Reolink camera I have the duo 3 wifi too which works perfectly. But this one is subpar to any other similarly priced and feature camera from other manufacturer. Surprised I haven't seen reviews on YouTube from any of the channels that frequently have videos on Reolink products.The picture quality is really good during the day and okay at night. It opens fairly quickly for a battery powered camera, within 5 seconds.
