The good: seems to be well made and works fine, so far.The bad: there is no customer support except through AI, which seems to be the abbreviation for “artificial idiot” in this case. Because I subscribed to the trial cellular service, when I tried to implement a paid subscription, it was very difficult to do so. (Wouldn’t you think they would make it easy to take your money?) I contacted “customer service” for assistance, but finally had to just keep trying different things on my own until I accidentally managed to hit the right combination that allowed me to create a paid subscription. At first it was a bit challenging for us to figure the camera out. It kept glitching and wouldn’t connect properly. After YouTubing some ways to get familiar with it we finally are able to enjoy it. My recommendation is to purchase the EIOT club SIM card and do the trail camera $96 7GB option. So you don’t have to continually keep adding gbts to your plan. Make sure to set it in an open area where the sun really helps it charge. Set your settings to your preferences. We use ours on our property where there is no internet or wifi availability so the SIM card allows it to connect to its WiFi and

The camera is very well setup with options and the app works very well. The solar panel for sure keeps it charged and the LTE plan is reasonable BUT you’ll have to dial in the cloud uploads. You can easily churn through the data if you are saving too much to the cloud.The ONLY reason for 4 star is the strap mounting options for a tree or in my case a metal pole are basically junk. I had to go out and get a pipe clamp. They need to consider better pole mounting hardware for sure.

I’m genuinely impressed with this camera. I own another security camera that works very well, but this Reolink is definitely on another level. The image quality is excellent, the app is easy to use, and features like the time lapse, PT control, and monitor point are perfect for keeping an eye on my construction project.One very important thing for international buyers: the camera was not carrier/IMEI locked. The picture quality is pretty good, but can’t connect to when you need it to ie. right after you get an alert it won’t be about to pull up what it just recorded, or even go straight to the camera. Any time we want to connect quickly to the camera it happens to not want to connect. The controls to move the camera are very lagging too, takes about 30 secs or so for the camera to move after giving it a command, if it moves at all.

Great product, compact, and well worth the money

I have 3 Reolink cellular cameras running on Mint mobile service. Only one of them works currently and it's not the new one. This thing has reset itself 3 times now. Push notifications give an " error, no network" when testing and this is an hour later after successfully testing them and getting notifications.These things are great when they are working, but their cellular connectivity and network issues make them worthless!
