I'm using it for software development related work and it is awesome!! The text is very clear. The radius of the curve is perfect - such that you are always looking straight onto the display instead of at an angle. There were no dead pixels on the one I got. I thought I would need a monitor arm to get it up high enough for good posture/ergonomics, but the stand it comes with turned out to be tall enough.

It took me a bit to choose a replacement for my damaged Viotek 49" monitor. You cant go wrong with Samsung but the info I missed is there is no built in speakers. So i bought a sandbar type desktop speakers instead.

This monitor is 4 feet wide, providing the horizontal resolution of almost three regular monitors side by side, but with no bezel gaps. The 1m radius means that every spot on the screen is nearly the same distance to your eyes.While this is excellent for gaming, giving a field of view you've never had before, it's pretty great for regular working as well. Washed out colors, tiny height measurement
I had this back in its box for a return 2 hours after getting it set up. The colors are very dull and washed out, HDR settings just makes them worse. I find it ridiculous it's marketed as a Gaming Monitor. I played with every setting in the extensive settings menu of the monitor itself, and at no point was able to get it to look as good or sharp as my ~7 year old Phillips that was like $150 back then. Also the height is astoundingly short. It does not look to be 2 side by side monitors put together as I was told Ultrawide monitors are. Maybe 3-4 really small monitors lined up. I needed a bigge
