This is sleek, easy to clean. I am a single person that doesn't cook every day. I keep food garbage in small bags and take out to large can outside very often to keep the inside can from smelling. The charcoal filter works very well and size is good for one person. It may be too small for a family. But I like it. It sits on the counter, I personally did not like how it hangs on your cabinet.
