Very beautiful and well-made, super sharp

I got the 1 steak knife and 1 fork combo to try out as I am single. Great product hands down the best, but I’m wondering what in the heck is the little piece of wood for that came with it?

The core metal is a fairly hard steel and holds a very keen edge. Cutting through meat gives a very clean cut, not shredded like serrated knives cause. The outer layers give a beautiful pattern, unique to every knife. It arrived fully sharpened.The Bad: VG10 is a harder steel that's more difficult to sharpen, although it holds an edge much longer.Recommended. I love mine.For sharpening, 350 grit works well, followed by 1200-2000 gr

These steak knives are very cool looking and fun to use so far. Are they Japanese? The package refuses to say where these are made, just that they have different factories, so I assume they are being deceptive. These knives are probably made in China. If they were made in Japan, they would proudly print it on the knives and package. Are these really 73 layer "Damascus" made knives at less than $25-30 a piece? I'm not sure what they did, but they look good so far. The gift box is cardboard with the serrated set, disposable. I will hand wash and dry the knives. I would not put in the dishwasher.

These are beautiful and feel really good in my hand. Hopefully they do a great job of cutting a steak too.

I like the look of Damascus blades and have been looking for steak knives with Damascus blades for a while.They have a good weight to them and fit well in the hand.One negative, it sys on amazon that they are machine washable but in the paper work it recommends hand wash only.
