I’ll start by saying I really like this scale. I was originally looking for a scale that had a wall plug, because for me the scale would either be used a lot or not very often depending on the situation, so battery-only scales weren’t the best choice. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a plug-in scale that I liked, though I’m still looking for one since a digital scale would also come in handy.I finally saw this one, and it seemed perfect since it doesn’t require batteries or a plug. I recently switched from paleo to calorie counting because the prices these days are out of control for a meat-base

My husband sells his berries by the pound and this scale is right on. Like that the basket is removable for cleaning. Also easy to back the dial to zero for Tare weight when using cardboard little green berry containers.

Reasonably solid construction a good product to have if you struggle with digital scales

i had a very old scale but it was very old and didnt work good, husband bought me this one and i really like it

Larger than expected but I appreciate the size. I was concerned as the front plastic was not attached and I almost could not get it on. I finally did but somehow had fruit flies get inside and now want it off to clean! Helped weigh out produce wonderfully and you can zero out easily at the top with the knob. Easy to clean all over through (minus the plastic cover I can’t seem to easily remove or get back on without risk of damage)

Beautiful and substantial, this is not a small scale. I love that it is manual and it seems sturdy and sensitive to the correct weight. My best friend and I both got one to measure flour for baking sourdough. It’s easy to use and adjust the tare if needed. I would not consider this portable because it’s more like a counter item that stays or could be stored. Easy to clean because you can put the measuring tray/bowl in the dishwasher or just rinse out and leave to dry.

I love this retro scale. It’s more accurate than old mechanical ones, thanks to its dial that shows both modern and vintage units of measurement. It’s super easy to use and looks perfect in my farmhouse-style kitchen. It was affordable and weighs precisely. I tested it by placing prepackaged boxes and cans on the scale and comparing the weight to the labels on those products. I think it would make a great gift for any classic style kitchen.
