Nice looking but plastic cover very difficult to remove
This is a very nice looking, high quality and solid product. Installation was not too difficult with included template. Only issue is the stainless steel was covered with plastic to protect it. The blue plastic was easy to remove. The white plastic on the front edges was very difficult to remove. Also the plastic caught in areas where two pieces abut cannot be removed. Hopefully doesn’t cause issue once it experiences heat. You would have to disassemble the components to get all the plastic off.

Wrapped in plastic like glue
Does what it should but the protective plastic you have to peel is like glue. Start peeling and it rips off and you have to pick to get another bit lifted to peel again. Took longer to peel than to put up, and it left a bunch of tape residue. I’ll have to buy stainless cleaner to remedy.

Very nice exhaust fan for over stove
We haven't yet installed this fan as the house isn't completely built yet but this was very well packed and arrived in great shape. Prime day offered a really good price and, most importantly, this was clearly the partner to a chimney extension unit. Very few others were on Amazon, even when I could see on the companies' websites that there was one being used in the photos. I needed it but I wasn't willing to do any more leg work so this unit won out. Based on the specs, it appears it will be more than adequate for us and we're looking forward to installing it soon. nice, and affordable...EXCEPT the packing tape(paper) that took me 60 minutes to remove. it is horrible. will never buy from this manufacture as a result. took longer to remove tape than install unit. terrible.
