Bought two Wyze cameras - this one and the Cam Pan V3. If you don't need the rotate this is a great choice - the streaming quality on this one is higher and it's got a light on it which I found surprisingly useful. The two-way communication is actually pretty awesome - for as small as it is the camera's mic pics up decent audio. I did find that if you're on the monitoring end and want to speak through the camera you should do so slowly and deliberately as it takes a half-second for the speaker on the camera to kick on and broadcast; it cuts you off a little so just make sure you enunciate. Nice little camera. Easy to set up and works very well. Have to download the app and follow the automated instructions. Be aware you do not have to sign up for a paid subscription although they make it difficult to avoid that during the set up process. Just x out of that screen. Camera has multiple options and can take a micro SD card if you want to store a video (card is separate). I set it up to view the front door and am thinking of getting another one for the back. Great camera. I was looking for one I didn’t need a subscription for. If you want to review footage, you will need a micro SD card, as well as an adapter so you can delete old footage when it gets full. Super easy to set up, and really clear! Love the night vision

I have been using the Wyze Cam v4 for about two weeks to keep an eye on my cats while I’m not home, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations for the price.Setup was very straightforward. I tried a different camera from a different company and it was really a hazel setting up so I sent it back and for a lesser price no contracts and a basic free plan that actually works. I set this camera up in about an hour. It wouldn’t have take that long but I first programmed the wrong camera. In the app store download use the WYZE app with the W in the middle the other two apps want subscription plans and I don’t even think they are WYZE apps.
