WYZE Solar Cam Pan, 2K Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor, Battery Powered

This Wyze camera stays consistent with the good quality and affordability. I had looked at other solar cams and was hesitant, but I saw Wyze finally had a solar camera. It works great like the other camera they make. It was easy to set up and connect. It triggers AI activity accurately and catches the footage. All data is saved to the microSD card that i installed. Battery life lasts the day, with moderate sunlight and solar panel gives enough power to last the day.

I have several Wyze cameras and this one was a great addition. Very handy to be able to mount it outdoors where I have no power, so I can get a good external view of the house, including any deliveries. Also, pan/tilt function is very handy for sweeping the area. Very happy with the purchase. Installation was easy and performance is excellent.

Be very careful if you order this product, there's two versions. Model 1.0 and model 1.1 here on this listing it says you're purchasing the 2K version, which is model 1.1. I noticed after setting it up that the quality wasn't as good as my other 2k Wyze cameras. The box showed 2K, but when I ran my finger over the 2K I noticed it was a sticker. So then I opened the app and found the model was version 1.0. I checked Wyze support page and they clearly distinct the non 2k model as 1.0 and 2k as 1.1. If you purchase, make sure you check the model number in the app and run your finger over the box

We got this a couple of weeks ago and love it. Installation was extremely simple, it comes with a drill guide and I also love that the solar panel can be installed separately in the event your ideal camera location is always shaded. Picture quality is great and it alerts us for what we need it to do.The thing that I like most about it is, unlike most other camera companies, the subscription is OPTIONAL. The subscription does unlock more perks, but if you just want piece of mind or the basics (pictures, video, and none of the other bells and whistles), this camera is for you.We own a few Defend

I have mostly all wyze cameras around my house. I’ve been looking for something that I don’t have to fuss with cords. This is great but haven’t gotten it to charge 100% yet, although, it gets full sun almost all day. It stays around 75% consistently.My only drawback is it only captures a few seconds videos intermittently without it being charged into an electrical power source full time. I was trying to get rid of all the cameras with cords but I might have to ditch the solar panel and plug it into a power outlet in order to view and play what might have been missed through out the day.

The camera is good, even very good but solar panel is terrible. Charge very slow and ONLY when sun is directly on it. After one day of rain battery was dead next morning and didn’t turn on until late afternoon (on the sunny day) and later in the evening was dead again. I did charge battery full before I installed it. So I had to replace that solar panel with bigger and better one.

Setup is easy. I have multiple Wyze systems. The camera operates smoothly. Picture quality is great. Only downside is the 2k does not have nite color vision like the 4k wired. Very pleased with the camera

The picture quality is very clear, and the camera works well even at night. The audio is also clear. It connects to the network wirelessly without the need for cables, and the connection is stable. I can check the monitored area anytime. The solar charging feature saves the trouble of wiring, and the charging speed is good. Installation and setup are simple and easy to complete.
