The image quality is stunning; the 4K resolution is crystal clear, making it easy to see fine details even at a distance. Camera itself is amazing, picture quality is sharp and clear. I chose to mount it separately from the solar panel, which was easy enough since it’s a magnetic base. I used an electrical outlet plate glued to a wall since I wanted it mounted on a patio. Battery charged with no issues before connecting it to the app. The only drawback is the solar panel mount, it’s not a 1/4 inch so I had to get creative and rig it so I could use an existing solar mount I had. The picture quality is very clear both day and night, motion detection is accurate, and the app would be easy to use even for someone who isn’t super tech savvy. I have two of these and a sibling model with remote angle adjustment.The 4k image quality is pretty good for a security camera, but a little over-sharpened.Color and auto-exposure are better than average.Night vision is excellent.The best feature is time-lapse, but setting it up is tricky. You MUST switch off auto-detect, and the only way to get a long time lapse clip is to download the chip to a computer, then hunt for a player that will convert the files into something usable. I've had some luck with VLC.The worst weakness is that squirrels can easily bump the camera out of alignment. Needs

I’ve recently upgraded my WiFi to the TP Link Deco BE63 so I decided to upgrade the rest of my devices. One device was the Tapo C460 Kit. Installation and setup was super fast and easy. At 4K 8MP, the video quality is great both during the day and at night. With the new WiFi setup the connection to the device is solid and the solar panel charges the battery to 100% with ease. IAnother thing I like is that the cloud service is optional! This all Tapo cameras offer local recording capabilities with a micro sd card.
