This little device is AMAZING! Both the Tapo app and the Tapo C236 3K Camera far exceeded my expectations. Excellent visibility (panoramic, tilt, ai zoom, night vision, color). So far it’s great, no issues, imagine is clear day & night. The patrol setting is awesome, it smoothly follows the movement & isn’t blurry at all. I haven’t used the voice yet but just setting it up it sounded clearer speaking than some of their inside cameras. I’m not sure how far away from the WiFi it can be as I have mine set up right outside my window, but the connection is great outside. The app is very easy to use/navigate. The monthly payment for storage is pretty cheap. It’s a great price for a less than expensive, good & reliable camera!

I bought several Tapo cameras and have been unhappy with the app and the SD card storage video quality, but this is my favorite one out of them all. It follows movement and tracks it very well. It's not battery powered, so keep in mind that it has to be plugged in. The night vision seems to work ok, although my location has lighting so it's not really a factor for me. The app works ok, but it's kind of hard to finely scroll when looking for a particular incident. It tends to move fast, so it's not easy to move smoothly and look for things of interest. These are very good quality cameras. I am impressed by their performance and quality. Very clear video in day or night time. They have quite loud siren 🚨 and over all they are very functional cameras. The size is perfect to use indoor or outdoor. They have some weight to them and do not feel flimsy or cheap. So far I have nothing negative to say about them. And the best part of all they have local storage and cloud ☁️ is an optional thing that is not being pushed onto you.
