The actual utensils are a great quality. The bamboo and silicone are lightweight and durable and work well in our kitchen set up. Scissors were thin and did not cut well. We already owned a pair of kitchen shears, so we added these to our children's art cabinet. The knives seemed fine, certainly not professional chef quality, but passible for a first apartment. There are some pros and there are some cons to this set.PROS:- container that holds all products, including the cutting board- container has a separator for all of the knives- a tool for everything- really nice, sturdy handles- knives are very sharp and seem very nice- whisk, tongs, silicone brush, knives, and scissors are all really nice.CONS:- these utensils are TINY. Despite this being a very complete set with most any utensil you could need at an affordable price point, I can't recommend it. The knives are ok, and there are 5 sizes included, they are attractive, too. The whole set stores very compactly which is ideal for small spaces but the container is plastic of a type that scratches easily. This set is great for a beginner cook or if you only need to cook for yourself. The set is complete with everything you would need including the cutting board. I got black so that color was black. The material is a non stick but the actual size of everything is small. The length of the tool is correct but for example the spatula head size is about half the size of what it should be.
