AirHood Ultra-Slim Induction Cooktop, Portable Countertop Hot Plate Burner

A joy to use. The “works” are standardly great but the winning aspect is its slim profile. You have to be induction knowledgeable just as with all other models but this is really nice and classy looking. I’d like to buy another.

I absolutely LOVE this induction burner. It is compact & simple to use. I cannot say enough about it. The second the pan is off the burner, it turns off automatically. It's a good safety feature & switching the temperature levels change quickly.

I wanted the AirHood-Slim Induction Cooker because it is slim and light weight. I wanted it for my camper van, where space is limited. I run it off my solar generator so I can save gas for heat and hot water. It's 1200W while the bigger ones are 1800W, but I've done everything I need to do with 1200W. Some have complained that the temp defaults to centigrade and not Fahrenheit, but I have never in my life used a stove top with temp control. They are all power level dials, and so using the power level setting is normal for me.

Cook top looks great but basic functionality is terrible. The controls allow you to change to Fahrenheit but will not stay as the default. So every-time you turn off the machine it defaults to the the power mode setting. Also, i found that it the steps beteen temperature settings are 40 degrees. Thats outrageous if you are trying to simmer something in between the settings. Absolute trash.

I live in a one room studio with a tiny kitchen area and limited counter space. I am so happy we got the ultra slim! It was worth every dollar! We ordered a different one but when it arrived it was thicker and heavier. We traveled with this to Canada in our suitcase. We used it for a week on our trip. Great product to have no matter where you find yourself

I really like the way this cooktop looks. It is very nicely designed and easy to use.However, it is very loud. The fan makes a lot of noise and is on constantly. Also it gives off a lot of buzzing ad popping when it is is cooking.This isn’t why I dropped this cooktop to only 3 stars.I reduced the rating because of the temperature control. This cooktop has two modes of heat adjustment. Power mode and Temp mode. With Power mode you adjust the power level from 1-10. Thin light and very portable but also very powerful. I already have an induction range but wanted an extra burner. This boils water faster than my range. It also keeps a nice steady temperature. So far Im really liking it. It would be fantastic for travel or camping as well since its so thin and portable. Other reviewers mentioned it was loud but I don’t think it is.
