Elite Gourmet Double Cast Iron Burner, 1500W Hot Plate, Adjustable Temp

I bought the Elite Gourmet double burner as a backup cooking option and it’s actually been very useful. I started using this on a daily basis. Setup was simple—just plug it in and start cooking. Both burners heat up reasonably well and work fine for everyday tasks like boiling water, reheating food, and basic pan cooking.I found it easy to use with the simple knob controls and clear heat settings. It’s nice having two burners when I need extra cooking space, especially for meal prep or when my main stove is full.The cast iron plates hold heat well, but they do take a bit of time to fully heat

Just got this today as a backup because my new stove is giving me problems plus I think they are good to have for extra burners and so on. Came well packaged and nothing damaged. I tested it by turning the knobs at a level 3 and some have said it takes to long to heat I did not have that problem. Then I turned it up to the hotter level and it gets hot you need to do this anyway to burn off small amouts of smoke. I ran it for about 3 minutes. I did notice once you shut this off and unplugged it does take awhile for it to become complely cooled so make sure that it is cooled before putting it aw

This was perfect for me to use when our stove top broke. Used this until we had the money to replace it. It does take a bit longer than a typical stove top to heat up. It’s a good quality and if I was the glamping type I would definitely use this.

This neat little countertop stove puts out plenty of well-distributed heat and doesn't take up much space. Heats up fairly quickly but doesn't draw so much current that it trips our 20 amp breakers during use.We ordered this little guy for our patio kitchen that has run for ages on a standard propane camp stove. I never had to use one of this hot plate; to be honest I didn’t even know that was the actual name for the electric cooking countertop thing. I’m basically rating it a 3 stars based on the durability of the burners. 14 days of lite cooking and already is showing signs of peeling or cracking. The heating performance I think is ok; the constant on and off every 5 minutes is in my opinion what makes even a ramen noodles soup take an entire 1 hr to cook. I guess it’s what I paid for.

This item looks and works Great,I've seen other feedbacks statements of this duel burner not being able to handle large pots, well I found that those statements are not true. I have used this 2 burner unit at my lake house all summer ling boiling water in my Lobster pots that I cook my clams and Lobsters in . My pots are VERY BIG POTS and this unit has always handled the task. I give this unit along with a single burner unit from same seller an Astonishing FIVE STARS *****(of of 5) for its Excellent Quality and it's Visible Appearance . Very well made.
