Nuwave Flex Precision Induction Cooktop, 6.5” Heating Coil, Black

This is the second one I purchased the last one lasted four years and worked perfectly until it didn’t. I tried the Amazon basic flat square model and it does not cook evenly so that’s why I decided to order another one. Temperature controls and even cooking is very important to me and I’ve never had a problem with their products before.

Just finished RV Solar project and am using this with AGM batteries. On the 600 watt option, I litterally have no issues what so ever at cooking at night, and thats with AGM batteries. I pretty much only use the 600 watt and the 1300 watt options, not the 900 watt. When using the 900 watt option, it does not stay on 900 watt, rather goes from 900w to 1300w off and on. I will say I am quite impressed with this, probably used it about 5 times so far with eggs and boiling water, have not tried meat yet. Bought one in late 1/2024 after the one I purchased several years earlier stopped working. I use this stove top almost daily for almost everything. Tonight I made Lamb chops and they came out perfect. I also have a small pied a terre oven that I rarely use because this cooktop works so well for me. This one cooks on low to 400F Iusually use 175 to 225. If I get busy doing something else it automatically turns off. I have a nice ceramic cook set and all the pieces work well on this stove and after using these for months on this Nuwave the pots and pans still look like new even on the bottoms. I

Great unit that does everything well except when the room temperature is too high. Above about 80 degrees room temperature the unit overheats and shuts down until it cools.

I'd often considered giving a try to an inductive cooktop, especially for emergency situations when my traditional burner-coil electric range couldn't be used. However, many of the devices out there had such an extensive list of conflicting reviews that it was hard to figure out what really did and didn't work. Eventually, I settled on the NuWave Flex PIC and picked it up as renewed, simply to have some real experience and to know where to go from here. The pre-programmed options provide a good starting point from which you can make adjustments instead of starting from scratch every time. The best feature is being able to add or deduct cooking time at any time while in the process of cooking which ensure you don't over cook or boil over when not watching.

Brilliantly precise. Efficient. Easy to understand and operate. Using a good induction cooker, such as Nuwave, reduces electricity consumption. I've proved it. Instead of waiting >5 minutes it takes most standard electric stove tops to reach desired heat, the induction cooker generates the heat desired immediately, then it turns off immediately. This is a great product. We love using it for our kids Mac and cheese/other foods during hotel trips. It also works really well when we go camping!
