I bought one to see if I wanted to switch out my profile electric oven for an induction cooktop instead. So I bought this unit here to check out and experiment with induction. I used this thing for well over a year and learned I did like induction and so well that this Nuwave Titanium stayed on top of my old electric stove, only I just wasn't using my electric stove at all anymore because cooking on the Nuwave was just that much better. And it wasn't too high, or tall, to just live on top of my electric stovetop fulltime. One thing I really loved about my Titanium Induction Cooktop was the 5 de

It may not be Perfect, but it's AmazingHere's a Surprise:My first Nuwave Titanium wouldn't go over 340F in Target Hold mode with the Probe, though it's supposed to.Several exchanges with Nuwave customer support ended with the suggestion to start a warranty claim.Since I bought it from Amazon only days before, I returned it there.I really wanted it to work, so I ordered another, but didn't have high hopes.Testing this one with the probe, it held water at 190F (as did the first), then Oil at 325F, and rebounded nicely aftera whole small potato of French fries dragged it down to 302F.I reset the
This review is for the NuWave Titanium PIC. I also have owned a Gold version for about 2 years now so will provide some comparison. The advantages of the Titanium are: 1800W vs 1500W, a removable temperature probe (measures temperature like a regular probe, can be set to turn off the PIC when the probe reaches a set temperature, or it can be set to hold a temperature once it has been reached), the Titanium has a front located on/off switch (however, the Titanium is still a phantom load of 2 watts when turned off – this feature mainly blanks the display and prevents stray fingers playing with th
Unit works well, very easy to operate. Heats quickly and with less power than regular stove. So far I have used the 700 and 1500 watt settings, I have not seen the need (yet) to use 1800w. I like the fact that I can set the temp to 215 or 220 for a simmer, once it has reached full boil, it maintains temp very well. I really like the fact that I am no longer bound to the old stovetop for cooking, it will be a good addition alongside my outdoor griddle. I don’t have a full complement of induction capable cookware yet, so I will be looking to acquire a few items.
Received the item in June 2025, hadn’t used it since February 2025. I tried to use it last week and it won’t even turn on. So I have a brand new looking piece of junk that doesn’t work. I talked to support with Nuwave and because it’s already been a year, I’m stuck with this. She did offer a $20 discount to buy something from their website. Lol
The ONLY negative I have to say about this cooker is that it seems to hate non-stick skillets, even "guaranteed" ones. I've tried my Emeril Ware (all-clad) skillets, sam's club commercial, and actual All-Clad non-sticks, and none are detected. 10 seconds of warning beeps and then e1 error, every time. All my stainless and cast iron cookware works instantly and flawlessly and I wish I had purchased one of these a long time ago. Background:We've got a lot of fantastic kitchen appliances and cookware. We cook A LOT. This summer we had an unexpected issue with our gas supply and suddenly had no capa
We bought the Nuwave Induction Cooktop as a temporary fix. We ordered a new special order gas cooktop that came in broken, they had already taken away our old gas cooktop and while we are waiting for a replacement (which will take about 6 weeks), we decided to get a portable induction cooktop while we are waiting for our replacement to come in.The first thing I did when it was delivered was boil some water, I was shocked how quickly it boiled a large pot of water. We have only used it a couple of times so far, but I can tell it is a quality appliance. I know that once we get our new gas cookto
This is a great induction burner. I've had others before, however I bought this because of the finer temperature control, the 8" heating coil that can heat a 12" pan, and the probe that lets me keep soup at a, say, 190 degree simmer, without the pot boiling over if it otherwise got to 205 or 212 degrees.I just got it today, and tested the basics and it quickly boils water, in a 12" pan faster than my range top infrared burners.I also bought a thin 12" silicone pad (certified up to 575 degrees) to put between the induction burner and the pan to protect the burner's surface from scratches or spi
