Commercial Kitchen Scale with% Rate, YONCON KF-H8U 22lb/0.02oz Food Scale

I have been using this scale for a month or so. It seems very accurate. My old scale seemed to vary slightly when I used it to divide dough. The display is easy to read. The battery makes it easy to move and the electric option makes it easy to keep on for extended use. I would recommend this scale.

I was so over all those battery operated ones. It always seemed like as soon as the batteries were getting weak you could no longer trust the readings. Sometimes too late! Not so with this electric scale! First off, it allows micro gram measurements, very important to many recipes. Secondly, unlike those battery ones, it doesnt time out and turn off making you loose your valuable place in measurements. Lastly, cause its so well designed, I dont end up with flour buried in it in unreachable places.

Scale was ok. The front plate came off right away but still able to use it. Just annoying to have to keep sticking it back on.

Other than the packaging damage, and associated scratches, I’ve used this product merely for small, precise dry ingredients baking measurements and it has performed above expectations. I mean, as a former bakery baker, where hand measurements for spices, portions, sweetness were routine, and if there was a scale like this then I’d used this scale. No not for portions. Sometimes it’s quantity that sells. The batteries work great. Hold their charge if the scale is removed from the charger. It has the tare function which helps get past the 5G measurement limitation. Easy to tare, has adjustable feet to level, and holds my bins for multiple loaves.

The scale does not show 34 or 33 grams correctly. It rounds the weight and only shows either 35 or 30, not 33. I do not recommend it. A scale should measure gram by gram accurately

I like the design. Tall so you can put a big plate on it and still see the screen. The functionality on the other hand, makes no sense. If its on batteries it will turn off in 10 min and you can turn it off with the button on the front. If its plugged in it will never turn off and you cant turn it off with the on/off button on the front. You have to use a separate on/off switch on the back of the scale. If you are weighing something, you cant toggle through the units of measurements. So if its in oz and you want to see what it is in grams you have to take the item you are weighing off, tare, c

I make a lot of bread and pastries and have gone through a ton of scales. This is by far my favorite so far.
