Cuisinart 12-Piece Kitchen Knife Set, Advantage Color Collection with Blade Guards, Multicolored, C55-12PCER1

I stumbled across these knives while on vacation when the AirBnB we were staying at had a set in the kitchen. I liked them so much that I looked them up and ordered a set for myself as soon as I came home. That was in March 2019.They felt great in hand and actually made cooking more enjoyable because they performed so well. We have used them almost daily for the past 7 years and have been BRUTAL on them. They’ve been dropped; left soaking in liquids for long periods of time; thrown around in the sink; smashed with heavy pans while in the sink; ran through the dishwasher a million times; etc. T

I bought this colorful knife set from Cuisinart, and it’s been one of the best additions to my kitchen. Not only do they add a cheerful, modern touch to my countertop, but they also perform spectacularly.They come extremely sharp right out of the box. FIRST IMPRESSIONSI just received the package with the knives (Feb 24, 2016). It arrived 1 day late and the actual order failed to update the tracking information after Feb 18, when he package left the California facility.Now, the knives are beautiful, they are well balanced (at least the set I got) and simply stunning. So far they look and feel great. Love that each knife has it's own guard and the colors are vibrant. I have yet to use them. Really quite sharp by my standards (probably low non pro, not a knife expert) when they arrived, but less so now, 5 months later.In fairness I've never sharpened them (have a ceramic honing rod in my cart, thinking on it), but vegetarian so no bones, knife-friendly cutting boards, no abuse, and i always wash them after use, by hand.Super inexpensive, so no real right to complain, but still, these are good but not 100% super awesome.

These are my go to. I'm not a chef, but these work well and last forever. I have huge hands, too, and several professional knives have left me bloody by their design. I can't blame the really good ones for the bloodshed, but these are quite versatile. And look at the price. They are never budget busting.

Love these knives. The weight and grip is good and their rust resistant. I also like the appearance of different colors so you know which one to use, seem very durable.
