I consider myself a beginner when it comes to kitchenware and cooking. I wanted a sharp knife set on a block with a built in sharpened and this fit the bill. There was a desire to have a modern, mature and contemporary knife set in a kitchen in which the kettle is pistachio, the cabinets are plum and the walls have a hint of peach. This balances out the slightly whimsical kitchen while being practical, sharp and timeless. It’s been slicing through fruit and meat effortlessly. Also caught it before the price increase.

these knives are super nice! i’ve had them for about 6 months, and there is a little bit of rust on several of the knives. the holder is very nice, and the scissors are well-made, and i do like the knives. however, i have to give them a 4/5 for rust within a year of use.
