CyberPower CP850AVRLCD Intelligent LCD UPS Battery Backup

I have owned a number of these over the last ten years. They last their expected live. They don't take up a lot of room, but what room they occupy is well-worth protecting whatever is plugged into it. Right now, I own four CyberPower UPSes of various sizes. One protects my computer equipment, one protects my AV equipment in the living room, one protects my home security system, and the last protects the Frontier FiOS telecom interface in the garage.You can't go wrong with these considering their price.

This has been a very reliable UPS supplying power to a TV and my internet router. I've had it operating for 5.5 years on the original battery, and the battery still tests good and it still maintains power to the router whenever the power goes out and suppresses surges.I also have a CP1500 UPS that supports a PC and associated monitors, which I have had for 12 years, and which continues to work as it should. I purchased this unit because at the time we were having electrical issues on the part of our utility company, and I wanted to make sure my electronics were protected. I got the item 5 days ago. I tested it using a computer running Windows XP and drawing about 130 watts. When I unplugged the UPS from the wall the software reported 100% battery capacity and 19 minutes of remaining run time. I've had this unit for 5 years now. I live in Alabama and here the storm seasons stretch over six months of the year. In those six moths of the year we have plenty of power surges and outages and one happened three days ago.
