I had a previous cyberpower ups without a screen and for some reason the battery stopped working and a breaker flipped and my computer went out the second the power did which didn't make sense until I realized the batters couldn't hold a charge after 7 years. Works very well . It is used to keep my ccvc camera system and my cable company router powered during power out until my generator kicks on .. also works well here in Florida with storm fluctuating power loss . Power goes out for 4-10 seconds and internet drops until it reconnects takes a total of 10 minutes for the router to com back on . This fixes the issues and also tells you the amount of load on the battery and how long it will power what you have plugged in. Great battery capacity and easy to read bright display

Plugged it in to allow it to charge before using it, as instructed by the sticker on the front of the device. That's where everything went wrong. The display came on, after a few seconds it made a "pop" sound then immediately making a high pitched whining. The display was flickering on and off, I frantically unplugged it.
