Surprisingly still great after 4 years

I love to cook, when I have the right tools. I have had these knives a couple of months now and I am completely in love with them!!! They are sharp, fit in my hand perfectly, and are absolutely beautiful! I use them everyday. I have seen no sign of rust or have not found any flaws this far. Although, I do take care of them well.Be warned, they are seriously sharp!!! I cut my hand the first day. This was absolutely OPERATOR ERROR. Definitely the sharpest knives I've ever owned. My husband and I watch "Forged In Fire" and fell in love with damascus. I've searched other brands and these seemed the best value with great reviews. I'm so glad we bought these. They're beautiful and sharp. The only thing I do not like is the shears that come with it. They aren't damascus and they're not very sharp either. Still 5 stars though because the knives are amazing!

Very well made real wooden holder they say to hand wash and if not using them for a while coat them with cooking oil thinking they could rust I am no metal expert handles are just right for gripping seems like a good price would not pay more

The set was amazing and gorgeous. Knives are extremely well made and sharp. Only issue was that 1 of the slots has some shims in in that make it impossible to put the knife in the correct way. Makes it 1 less appealing to the eye and 2 less safe as a small bit of the blade is out.

I bought my friend a custom made Damascus steel knife ( 1 knife) for his retirement… paid $1000These don’t look as good, but they are not $1000. Another friend bought a set after I received mine. We both agree that these are the sharpest knives we have ever had. Incredible value.

I didn't realize how bad my old, super cheap set had gotten....until I started using these knives. I'm very pleased with them and recommend them if you're looking for a lower budget set that is still quite nice for the average person.

Purchased this set on Sept. 1 of 2025 and was initially impressed with the weight and extreme sharpness of these knives. The block is well made but you do need plenty of room above it due to its height to get the knives in and out. The knives themselves seem well-made and have a faux "folded steel" pattern printed on the blades, reminiscent of Japanese cutlery. The shears are a bit ungainly and not made to open bags and such but more for cutting chicken and heavier foods. A pair of kitchen scissors would have been a nice addition to this set. However, the small paring knife has developed three
