I am experienced with high end chef knives and I own several japanese (takamura, sakai takayuki, takeshi, ryusen) and a few german knives as well. This is a great knife set and I'm very pleased with it. I cook almost daily and I was using a rather dull set for a long time that was gifted to me. I decided to treat myself seeing as it was on sale and Christmas is coming up and I am not disappointed. I love my new knifes. They are so nice and sharp. I can’t believe I didn’t replace my old knives a long time ago!Just got them a few weeks ago but, I did not keep the knives in the block they came in. I ordered the black knives & ordered a beautiful magnetic block for them..So far I am very happy with them.I chose this particular set because they were Damascus steel knives. Time will tell how long they’ll last but they came with a nice sharpener which I’m sure will come in very handy. The steak knives work great.So happy with my purchase!Would recommend them to anybody looking for a great set

Very sharp knives, good value. The only disappointment was the scissors were not sharp.

These knives are beautiful. I do have a WARNING though, they are SHARP. Within a month, I had 2 minor cuts from the knives and 1 that required 9 stitches in my index finger. The cuts occurred not by using, but by hand washing. The only downside I see is the shears aren't easily used as kitchen scissors, but they cut meat well.

Dont waste your money! They do not stand behind their products. The tip of the 8" knife bent when it hit a bone and broke off. I was not being aggressive and this was only the 3rd time I used the knife.
