Absolutely love my new knives. Very sharp and very beautiful.

These are the sharpest knives I've ever had out of the box. My husband sliced through his finger nail into the meat of the finger - BE CAREFUL!!!! My teenager has tossed them in the dishwasher several times (despite my admonishments) and they continue to hold up. Best set of Knoves I've had so far. They cut through everything like warm butter.

So, these are really sharp. So sharp, in fact, that my wife and I have both sliced ourselves a couple of times. As long as you're not as clumsy as we, these knives are a terrific value.They feel sturdy in the hand. The handles are solid and fit perfectly. They are heavy, which I love. You feel like you've got a strong tool in your hand when you use them. Additionally, I love the design. The pattern on the blades is very cool. I bought these knives and they're very sharp and very distinctive. The Damascus is definitely unique and real. The quality is there and they're really nice in and out of the block. The block is also very nice and the set is beautiful. Sadly, I had to return them because the steak knives, the handles were just a smidge too short and it felt awkward and uncontrolled. ...nothing like holding a extremely sharp knife, cutting steak and it slips and accidentally cut yourself. These knives seem to be well made, have and amazingly sharp blade and look great, I have been using them for weeks and there just as sharp as day one.

Love this set!! Knives come SUPER sharp and ready to use. Block is nice and sturdy. Great addition to any kitchen. Make sure you hand wash the knives after each use and putting them in the dishwasher will not only dull the blades, but may also leave spots depending on your water.I had a set of Henkels and I like that set and used it for more than 5 years. But it was time for an updated set and the value for this set with all the pieces is great! The scissors cut through chicken bone without problems. This knife set is great for the beginner home cook. They are light and comfortable to handle. Meaning, you can cut and chop for a long time without getting tired. My only concern is durability. They are a bit thinner than my Wusthof, but not by much. On the plus side, they hold their edge almost as long as the Wusthof. The block looks great on my counter top and the shears are a great addition. Overall, can’t beat the price for what you are getting.
