I actually bought two of these, one for myself and one for my mom. Acurate scale. The metal finish adds a sleek look to it which actually fits in my kitchen very nicely. The one thing I have to say is that it feels a bit cheap and like it won't last me long term but for the price I'm fine with that and it doesn't seem to add or detract from the sensitivity. I do need to say though that it does work pretty fast and doesn't waver once it gives you the weight unless you actually change something.

I love this food scale. I track everything I eat so I bought a food scale. This one is compact and it fits in my purse so when I go to the office, travel, I take it with me. It's small but I can still fit my big plate on it to weight my food.

I use it every day and I've lost 40 lbs already in the last 4 months great for counting calories. It come with batteries and it has lasted very long (I don't take too much care and yet it still standing!) it's easy to set up and has comfortable decent size.

This little scale is really cool. My favorite thing about it is you can zero it out to allow use of a bowl or a cup or glass on top of it. The way you do this is you set the bowl on the scale before turning the scale on. Then power up the scale and put the food in the bowl and you can see how much the food alone weighs.
