This is a great blender. I wish the part that touched the food was stainless steel bit otherwise I love it

Fast and convenient for chopping and blending..if I'm making fluff a lot of fluff gets stuck in the immersion area..hard to get out unless you just want to rinse the good stuff out..otherwise it's great

Blender head gave way in less than a month, where the blades are probably not even safe to use, because they are no longer fixed and move...junk!! Look elsewhere for better quality item.

I've looked at several different types and prices. I found this one to be the best for quality and price.

This immersion blender will blend things reasonably well, but is not my prefect immersion blender by any means. It is very tall and clunky to use. The blade section detaches from the motor far too easily. The motor speed is difficult to control if you are wanting a slower speed, but it sure can zip along at high speed. It does get warm with use and the tag on the cord says to only use for less than a minute at a time and then let it cool down. This concerns me a bit, especially since this made in China item has no certification from any electrical safety organization such as Underwriters Labs.

1000W is noticeably more powerful than what I was used to. Chunky roasted vegetables for soup blend down in seconds, no going back to finish off stubborn bits. Makes properly smooth soups rather than that slightly grainy result I'd resigned myself to.The cookware protective cover is the feature that actually won me over from the listing. I always make soup directly in my good non-stick pans and the old blender had scratched the bottom of at least two of them before I stopped using it in there.
