I’ve had this Breville blender for about three years now and it’s pretty much the only electric tool I use in the kitchen, and it’s still as good as new. This immersion blender is expensive. It works exceedingly well. It is also tall and therefore requires some thought on where to store it. The blender blade and shaft are too wide to fit into a wide-mouth quart jar requiring me to figure out a new way to blend my morning hot chocolate (I use the wide-mouth quart jar but now use the wire whip to blend it.) The wire whip works well but it has a connecting piece that goes between the handle (the power unit) and the whip making the assembled whip very tall. I REALLY was hoping to get one that used metal gears/interface with the attachment, but I wasnt able to find a single one.
