Cuisinart CSB-179 Smart Stick Variable Speed Hand Blender, Stainless Steel

I’m very happy with this Cuisinart Smart Stick hand blender. It has plenty of power, the variable speed control is convenient, and it blends quickly and smoothly. I especially like being able to blend right in the pot or container without having to pull out a full-size blender.It’s comfortable to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much storage space. A handy, well-made kitchen tool that I find myself reaching for often. Definitely five stars!

I did a lot of comparison research before buying this, including looking at KitchenAid and other top brands, and this model consistently ranked at the top. I have had this for 6 months now & am loving it! The chopper is a nice extra & works well. Caution: the little removable blade is very sharp! Seems quite durable. Works prefect. Takes a bit to get used to the two buttons together when it starts.

I picked this up because I’ve been needing an immersion blender for some time and suddenly found myself in urgent need. Honestly, I picked this one because of the known brand, the attachments, and the price point signaled it wasn’t flimsy junk, but not excessive top of the line either. And most importantly, it would be here the next morning.On unboxing everything, I did find my predictions basically right. The handle unit itself is sturdy and somewhat heavy. So far, very pleased.Sturdy feel works like a champ. I have been wanting one for some time. I had bought another brand but it didnt work. This works. This has been a great addition to my kitchen so far.The unlock and power button need to be pressed at same time. So place in hand with buttons facing away from you. Line up your fingers to be able to press both. This will get it powered up. Once going, you can release the lock button, but dont have to. Just know that if you stop, you will have to start that over again. Pretty sure this is the norm.Attachments are easy on/easy off, easy clean.Have

I love this immersion blender and all the attachments. A must have for every kitchen. I have 2 and one at my son's house.

Cuisinart products are solid dependable workhorses in the kitchen. I bought this unit from the “mint condition used” option and unfortunately I did not assemble all of the attachments (immersion blender and whisk) when I received the package. It was months later that I went to use the immersion blender, only to discover that the blender did not belong nor did the whisk! These were genetic attachments that did not fit the Cuisinart power stick. Very disappointing and nothing I could do for replacement. Moral of the story, used / return items are not carefully checked before being sold again.

A great device for chopping stuff, for making smoothies and so on. We've had one for many years with no problems. Thought the old one broke so replaced it with this one only to find the old one worked fine. So now we have 2.
