This rice cooker could not be easier to use. I’ve only ever made minute rice, and haven’t actually ever made rice in my own the “natural” way. There’s definitely some learning to do if you’re new, but my first attempt was so much better than I expected. I did learn that I needed to use more water, since the bottom was crisping a bit. Once I figured that out, it came out much better and was soft and fluffy, and sticky. Never have I actually made sticky rice before! This is a superior rice cooker. It is very easy to use and the directions are uncomplicated. I used it tonight and cooked a delicious serving of rice that was not too wet. It is a large device so be ready to cook lots. I fixed a small, two cup portion and what emerged was actually too much for me and my wife. Next time I will try to cut that in half. The cup provided allows for the perfect amount required but the measuring marks for water on the cooking pot are rather difficult to read.
