    Amazing knives

    First - amazing knives. Great. Razor sharp, efficient, and a great variety (I got the 20 piece set). Downside... the knife block takes up a huge amount of counter space. I had to reorganize my entire kitchen to find a good way to fit it in. For me, it was worth it, because I do a lot of cooking, and great knives are a must for me. Another downside... the knife block has a huge crack that started at one corner at some point during shipping. I'm trying to get a replacement, but either this particular set is going out of stock, or it's tripled in price... I might have to just live with the crack,

    The misses has wanted a set like this for as long as I've known her. She was quite excited when these were order for Christmas. The knives are sharp and attractive. A nice complete set that we will cherish for a long time to come. There is however a design flaw in the concept of a self sharpening block. Having a sharpener in each of the holders requires the user to rinse and wipe ever time prior to use. This adds an extra step to the already labor intensive task of cooking. Perhaps having a singular slot dedicated to sharpening or a sharpener on the side of the block. But not in each slot. Thi

    Paring knife sags in the block

    The knives are great. However the design of the sharpening block is not good. All of the knives sit well in the block except the paring knife. It sags so much that it makes it difficult to pull out the steak knife below it. There is only 1/2 inch between the two handles. Not only does it impact functionality of the block it is also visually unappealing.

    Decent knives

    This is definitely not a high end set. Knives have no heft and feel flimsy. They are fairly sharp but don’t believe they will hold up to every day use. We will see. They were inexpensive so maybe worth price but have a feeling should have spent more and gotten higher quality knives.

    Sturdy Set

    This seems like a really good knife set. Went back and forth with it and a Chicago cutlery but chose this due to the self-sharpening block. Can't wait to really put it to the test
