    A durable well made knife set that are a good value

    About 30 years ago I had purchased a a steel J.A. Henckels knife set before micro-serrated edges that never requires sharpening were created. I had to sharpen those knives and they served my purposes. (I was quite happy with them). Sadly they were lost during a move. Flash forward to 2017 and my new set of J.A. Henckels International SilverCap 14 piece knife block set. While these certainly are not the top of J.A. Henckels line of products I do have to they are well made. I love the fact Henckels has created an ever sharp blade that is dishwasher safe. (In the past my previous set could never

    All Serrated Edges

    This is a very nice looking and well made set of knives. All of the knives have serrated edges which is not what I am used to. They work well, however, the serrated edge takes some getting used to.

    Very nice set!

    I got this product during Amazon prime days 2022. So far I LOVE IT! The knives are SHARP and easy to handle. The silver and black looks great on my counter and so far my family is please with the new purchase. Invest in a good set of knives!

    Knife blades are serrated. Hard to cut lettuce except to saw. Not sharp.

    I was not expecting the large blades to be serrated. Largest knife does not seem to be sharp at all. Appears it’s relying on serrated edge for cutting and not sharpness. Would have returned if I’d kept the box. Never expected Henckels to be so poor.

    I would rather sharpen my knives than use these.

    My mother had a set of knives from this company so I figured I would give these a try since I was having trouble sharpening my old knife set. I thought it would be a great feature to not need to be sharpened... nope, it is not worth it. I have so much difficulty cutting and cleaning the knives I use my old duller knives instead more often than not. Maybe I can salvage them and sharpen the blades anyway to get rid of that useless feature that just causes the fat from meats to get stuck and I have to remove it several times while cooking. I am glad this set works for many people, it just isn't f

    Good knife set

    This knife set, for the price, is just perfect. I sharpen them every couple of times I use them and I’ve never had a problem with any of them. We use them almost every day, except for when my wife forces me to take her out. Then they just look pretty.
