Instant Pot Rio Mini 4 Qt 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, Black

I absolutely love this Instant Pot! The 4-quart size is perfect for one or two people. It doesn't take up much space on my countertop, but it's still big enough to cook a full meal.Before this one, I used a 6-quart Instant Pot to make bone broth. It worked great, but I actually prefer this smaller size. Now I can make fresh, smaller batches two or three times a week instead of one big batch. I like the shape of this one and the death of this one much better than my old 3 quart instant pot let me explain. The old 3 quart mini instant pot was taller and smaller around. So if you’re a person that had a six or an 8 quart instant pot you had to re-buy all of your accessories. And I am in process of downsizing. I gave away my big six and my eight cord instant pots in favor of just having one smaller one and I chose the Rio. It’s is big around as the six and 8 quarts, but it’s not nearly as deep so it’s not as deep as the other instant pot mini design which I don’t think is available any

I honestly didn’t expect to love this Instant Pot as much as I do. It has made cooking so much easier and faster for my family. The wide design is perfect because I can cook larger meals without everything feeling crowded. With it just being my husband and I, there is no need for anything larger than this 4 qt. It works very well and is a workhorse in our kitchen. From meatloaves to breakfast cereals to stews and soups it has not failed to produce the perfect meal. Not to mention it looks nice on the countertop too. We love it.

PROS:1) Aesthetically pleasing appearance in my upgraded light kitchen, much prettier than my other black and stainless Instant Pots. Even the panel is mostly white. Color is a soft white or very light off white, not stark white which I was hoping for.2) Much quieter than my other 3 and 6 quart Instant Pots. No loud obnoxious beeps.3) The release button is on the front of the lid rather than next to the pressure release spout making it much much safer to use.4) The glass lid from my 6 quart Instant Pot unit fits this container so they are interchangeable. This is my first Instant Pot. I wasn't sure how I would feel about using one for cooking, which is why I had not bought one previously, I am pleasantly surprised. It's smaller than others I've seen, which I appreciate because of lack of space. I've been able to cook a variety of food without complaint, which always comes out tasting great. It cooks the food perfectly as long as you use the correct amount of liquid and cook for the appropriate time. Worth every penny that I did not want to spend during these times of high inflation.
