I bought 2. Then 2 more. Super easy to set up and install. Great resolution. So impressed I bought 2 more for 2 areas where a camera was nice but not absolutely necessary. Now have 6. We use Kasa smart bulbs in our house and love them. I didn't realize Kasa made cameras, so when I need an outdoor camera for security, I went with another brand. While it "worked", the alerts were endless as it couldn't differentiate between a person, a dog, a car, or a sparrow, we used it for over a year until we changed internet routers and had to try to reset it - remove the backing plate, press the reset, scan a code from your phone with the camera (not easy on a ladder with bright sunlight reflection from the screen), hope that it "took", then start all over when it confirmed 3 minutes la

Works very well! If you just use this camera with your home Wi-Fi you don't need a subscription but you'll need an SD card for inside the camera to store video.It runs on a usb charger instead of a regular cord so you have to figure out a way to plug it in...but beyond that it just works great.

The image quality is clear and sharp, and setup was fairly easy. Activity notifications can be a bit annoying, though. I have one installed in my garage, and it sends multiple notifications whenever I’m moving around in there. These cameras are great. I used blink brand cameras before these and Kasa is far superior, and at a reasonable price. I like them so much I actually have 4 at home. They have great video quality and I love the 24/7 recording. If you watch in live time the delay is less than 0.5 seconds and the video is mostly smooth, not buffering all the time like other brands. I had 4 of these. Hated them. They go offline for funsies. How do you get it back? Get on a ladder, unscrew microscrews on the back (hard to reach), get something sharp enough to push the interior reset button (nails are too big, pins are too small), and stand outside next to it while you set it up again on the app. This happened at least once a month for 3 years. Then you have to re-position it because to access the button, you have to move it.Got the paid subscription?
