I bought it so I could measure my coffee, and it met my expectations. It's easy to use and read, and it's also quite lightweight.It can measure in grams, ml, and oz. It has a very useful timer. It uses 3 AAA batteries, which are already included.My scale came with this rubber tray.It's worth it..
You wouldn't think a kitchen scale would be hard to perfect, but I have tried several all with different annoyances. This one is perfect. It toggles between grams, ounces and mL. I love the silicone mat so that nothing slips. The location of the buttons and screen are far enough away from the platform that you can use larger bowls. It's fast and accurate. The numbers are large and easy to see.
***UPDATE**** 3/8/2025I wanted to update my review as I have been using this scale since 2022 weekly for 3 years now. I have bumped my review up by 1 star. While my initial qualms still remain I increased the score by one because it's been solid for 3 years with no issues. I wish it had a low battery indicator, but that's really all it's needed these past years. It's pretty much given me solid weight numbers since owning it.If they made it a little more solid/heavier, I would even pay for that because the internals are great and the functionality is good. I definitely would recommend the scale
This is my second such item I've purchased. First one was a bit thinner but USB charging and it was cumbersome and irritating to use, charge and stow. This one is great! 3 AAA batteries (included) are easy to replace and long-lasting. Item is SUPER light, fairly thin and small, and works well. No crazy fancy features but everything you need (such as "Tare") and very very easy to use. For around $10 I don't know why EVERY kitchen doesn't have one of these. Just buy one!
I’ve been using this scale with my manual coffee grinder (King grinder), and it’s made pulling expressos so much easier. It’s super accurate and allows me to get the exact amount of coffee needed for my shot. Plus, it comes with a built-in timer which is such a nice touch! I can track my brew time without needing a separate device. It looks great and performs well. I highly recommend it.
Scale works great. I use it for weighing foods, not for coffee. But I’m impressed with it so far. Accurate quickly with minimal lag time to correct weight. Scale itself is light and easy to move around the kitchen. I recommend it
Coffee scale is great for the price
There are some features I really appreciate about this scale. I love that's it's big and that the readout is so readable. I'm replacing an expensive Vitamix scale.. (they're not available anymore) and even though it's not as well made, I prefer this scale and I'm glad I bought it. When I used it the first time, I was frustrated that it kept turning off too soon as I chopped and added salad ingredients, but I read the directions and figured out how to delay that or stop it from turning off altogether.
