Linksys WiFi 5 Router, Tri-Band, 3,500 Sq. ft Coverage, 25+ Devices, Speeds up to (AC4000) 4.0Gbps - EA9300

I can't believe I paid $289 for this router in 2017, now it's going for $120. I recently upgraded my internet to 100Mbps and it has no problem with that speed. I've never had any problems with it and setup was easy. This router is powerful and the Wifi signal goes real far! When I leave to go to work the WiFi on my phone drops out a block away. I live in an older 3 bedroom house and I've never had any dropouts or low signal areas. This is a great router and I highly recommend it.

This router lasted precisely 17 hours, give or take a few minutes. And no, I did not get a replacement - I sent it right back to Amazon for a refund and haven't looked back. If you are concerned with reliability in your home (or even office), Netgear Orbi is the ONLY way to go, not anything from Linksys - at least at the writing of this review (January 2019). I would have given it 5 Stars if not for the fussy set-up process and its lacking two features that seem to be standard on many other routers in this price range.Set-up. My recommendation would be to create your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account and confirm the account with the e-mail it generates. Simple set-up with Linksys App. Much easier than ***gear. I am using the Linksys AC1900 Max-Stream Range Extender with this router (also easy set up using the WPS button) and I get full seamless coverage from my back yard to my mailbox. The beam-form bunny ears are wonderful compared to radial coverage from just 2 years ago. If you have more than 3 TVs using 4K simultaneously the AC4000 or higher are a must as bandwidth cutout is a distinct probability (unless you are paying a second mortgage just to have fiber). I have been using the Linksys Max-Stream AC4000 for only about 2 weeks, but I am very happy with this router. I have about 15 devices connected and all the dead spots in my 3000 ft. home have been eliminated.
