My wife and I got this to replace a set of Ginsu Knives that had been well used and loved for over a decade and a half. So far we love these knives. Their extremely sharp and its amazing to have knifes that are sharp and don't have nicks and haven't been resharped by inexperienced hands for a decade. They are hand wash only but that's fine. The grip is very nice and the knives are well weighted. The block leans a bit more than our past set so it takes up about 3/4 the length of the largest knife on the counter but we don't really notice even though our previous block with the Ginsu was verticl

Love the knives. They are very sharp. Fit and weight in the hand is perfect. What made me buy them was the built in sharpener and the selection of knives. Most sets have knivqes i never use. My only complaint is the scissors come apart to easy. The set is still new to me, so maybe I'll get used to the scissors.Overall I love this set.
