The first two books are amazing, the rest are "good" but the author really starts leaning into the smut and when I have to skip pages in a row to get back to the story content of the book, they become really hard to read and I find myself having a hard time picking the books back up to read. The actual plot and storytelling is great and intriguing. If you really like pages in a row of smut, it's good for you, but if you get hooked on the first book for the plot, you will eventually get disappointed.

When a book is so well written, so well thought-out and cultivated, where the characters feel so real (despite their very fantastical natures), and the world they live in seems feasible, you order the second book in the series before you even get to the juicy parts. This book started off with action, and never stopped. It's a fantastic read, with an intriguing storyline, amazing character development, and worth the download. I will definitely be checking out other novels by this author.
