I can’t wait for the next story! I really hope the next one is the final book of the series because although I liked this one, the story is getting a bit convoluted and repetitive. How many times can either of them get taken or die then come back? And the way the gods and Xavier think cam and samkiel have turned evil feels a bit like a miscommunication trope so that better get resolved real quick in the next book! Overall I really am enjoying this series and am invested in the characters. The author did a great job with Kaden’s redemption arc. I didn’t think I’d be rooting for him!

Book 4 kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The twists, turns, and worldbuilding are absolutely phenomenal. Every chapter left me wanting more, and the story just keeps getting bigger and better.I love the perfect blend of romance, action, magic, mystery, and emotional moments. This series continues to surprise me with every revelation, and I honestly couldn’t put it down.I’m completely obsessed with this series and can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

Absolutely loved the first three books and loved this one in the beginning. But it’s being drawn out. The whole thing is dragging on too much for me. Characters getting too lucky, too often. God characters running out of power too often. I loved the inclusion of Death as a being but it’s also doing whatever it wants but then claims it can’t just do what it wants. There wasn’t any growth to the characters and I’m just bored with the plot. I’m stopping this series here if there’s any more. I’d recommend people stop at book 3, 4 is kind of a waste of time
