Timex Men's Expedition Scout 40mm Watch

What can I say, lov this brand! Watch looks good, big face, like I like, can see well. Lights up when you push button. Works great, worth the price. Only one thing that I don't care for is the band, it's not made as well as I have got from them before. So think I will be changing that soon. Nice watch that looks great and works well, very nice to look and see time, not like a digital watch where your shaking your arm to see time!!! So am happy with my purchase. And would buy again.

Overall a nice watch. You get solar power in a Timex 40mm field watch format at a good price. You give up Indiglo backlighting for the solar option. The seconds hand is not colored right and blends into the background of the dial being almost the same color but without any contrast on the hand or tip. The hour and minute hands are adequately lumed for casual use in the dark. The older you get the harder they will be to see. Just recently bought the Timex expedition scout T49961 field watch and am overly excited about this purchase since it's my first ever Timex watch. Really wanted the basic no extra nonsense or things on the watch most of us don't really need or use daily, other than to tell the time and possibly the date function. I wanted that clean basic field watch look including the 24 hour military time, having the date function on the watch was a bonus plus it's incredibly legible to read from any angle.
