Timex Women's Essex Ave 25mm Watch

So far, I have been very happy with my watch. It is keeping time well, and I like the feature that allows it to be lit up in the dark by pressing the stem. I have very narrow wrists, yet it fits comfortably on the last hole on the watchband. On other watches I have had to punch threw additional holes to keep it tight enough. The strap is advertised as leather and it looks like it is (albeit inexpensive leather), I love the round white-colored face and the very easy to read numerals and second hand. Timex has always been a reliable time piece; I expect no difference over time. The watchband is what keeps this rating from being a 5-star. The photo is a little deceiving in that the band tapers narrower toward the clasp, and it was narrow to begin with. I guess I can try replace the band at some point. Still a good value. I'm pleased.

I am very pleased with the watch. It is just what I expected. I have owned a Timex watch for longer than I can remember. I hope it will work properly since it was left out in the freezing cold. I would have thought the driver would have rang the doorbell since the package was left right under where the bell is. The watch was freezing cold when I took it out of the box which was broken. So far it is ticking away. It should have been packaged a lot better than it was. It was laying at the bottom of the original container which it came in. It is a wonder it is working so far. Time will tell.

I love wearing a Timex watch. They're good, dependable, reasonably priced, and I've bought my fair share over the years. My old one ran out of steam, so I ordered a new one through Amazon, never suspecting that the watch I'd receive would arrive in such disappointing, disgusting condition. To put it delicately, this poor timepiece, manufactured in 2019 (according to the box), had been placed in its original box, which was put into a larger, generic box.
