These work every time. Be careful with knockoffs. There are a couple certifications for water filters. This one covers both. Most don’t remove lead. Most only are certified no not use lead-leeching parts internally. There’s a big difference. The lead removal is a very expensive thing to produce and certify. So this is more expensive, but for a very important reason.
The previous filter I purchased for my whirlpool refrigerator was out of stock which initiated my search for an alternative filter and I am so glad that it did, because I found this one which was the perfect fit and costs less. Still the same quality of water and ice as the other filter. Great Purchase!
