    Whirlpool is the only filter I will buy.

    I tried one of the knockoffs filters and I had problems with the water flow. The Whirlpool filter is the only one I will trust.

    To know if the water filter works effectively !

    This water filter tested at 230ppm. I did flush the filter for 560 oz. This filter is very poor in filtering. Why should I replace this filter with such poor results. My tap water averages better than the refrigerator . The tap water is 221.

    Easy to install. Water tastes great!

    The water quality is really good. I use it daily for filling water bottles and to make my French press coffee, and it cleans out the bad taste. We have plastic piping, so our tap water has that unpleasant, plastic-y smell and taste straight from the faucet. I put this in my refrigerator and the water tastes clean and is odor-free. It's been installed for several months and our ice cubes and water still taste great with 1-2 gallons/day of filtering.
