Logitech has sold more than a billion mice, and the current range covers every budget and job: a very cheap wireless mouse, a gaming mouse with eleven buttons, a flagship productivity mouse with a free-spinning wheel, and a vertical mouse for sore wrists. We ranked the Logitech mice in our mice catalog by shape and hand fit, connection (Unifying, Logi Bolt or Bluetooth), battery life, scroll wheel and button features, and what tens of thousands of owners report after months of use.
We have not tested every one of these ourselves; the verdicts rest on the spec sheets and on the owner review history. Prices are not printed because they change daily; every button opens the live Amazon page. For a deeper look at the flagship, read our Logitech MX Master 3S review; for a wider field, see the wireless mouse for productivity guide.
How we picked
- One mouse per job. Budget travel, full-size desktop, silent, gaming, multi-device, ergonomic and flagship.
- Battery life of at least 18 months on the AA-powered picks.
- Connection options. Mice that offer both Bluetooth and a receiver ranked above receiver-only models.
- Owner ratings of 4.4 stars or better; every pick has more than 7,000 reviews.
- Honest about handedness. Right-handed-only shapes are called out, and the ambidextrous picks are noted for left-handers.
The picks
Logitech M510 Full Size Ambidextrous 2.4 GHz Wireless Mouse

The M510 is the Logitech mouse to buy for a desk: a full-size body with soft rubber side grips, a broad palm area and a gently curved shape that about 35,300 owners rate 4.6 stars. It has the three standard buttons plus Back and Forward on the side, a wheel that tilts for side-to-side scrolling, and a Unifying receiver that stays in a laptop and pairs with a Logitech keyboard too. The batteries last up to two years, there is an on/off switch, and an indicator light warns before they die. It is not exciting: no Bluetooth, no DPI button, no lighting. The body is ambidextrous but the side buttons sit on the left for a right thumb. For most people who want a comfortable, reliable wireless mouse, this is the answer.
- About 35,300 owner reviews at 4.6 stars
- Full-size shape with rubber grips for all-day comfort
- Two-year battery life
- Back and Forward buttons plus tilt scrolling
- Side buttons are placed for right-handers
- No Bluetooth, receiver only
- Plain looks and no DPI switching

The G502 Hero is the best-selling gaming mouse on Amazon for good reason: eleven programmable buttons including a thumb sniper button, a HERO sensor that tracks up to 25,600 DPI with no smoothing or acceleration, and a scroll wheel that switches between free-spinning and notched modes with a click. Spring tensioning under the main buttons gives a crisp, consistent click, and five 3.6-gram weights let you tune the balance. It is wired, right-handed and heavy next to the current crop of 55-gram esports mice, which is why competitive shooter players look elsewhere, but for MMOs, strategy games and anyone who wants buttons for everything it remains the standard. About 58,800 owners rate it 4.6 stars. See our lightweight gaming mice guide if weight matters more.
- About 58,800 owner reviews at 4.6 stars, the most of any mouse here
- Eleven programmable buttons and a dual-mode wheel
- HERO sensor with zero smoothing
- Adjustable weights and spring-tensioned main buttons
- Heavy by modern standards even without weights
- Wired only
- Right-handed shape, large for small hands
Logitech M185 Compact Ambidextrous 2.4 GHz Wireless Mouse - Swift Grey

The M185 is the mouse people buy five at a time: a compact ambidextrous body, a tiny plug-and-play receiver, a single AA that lasts a year thanks to smart sleep, and a three-year warranty, all for very little money. About 44,900 owners rate it 4.5 stars, which for a budget mouse is remarkable. Logitech says it suits small to medium hands and that is accurate; large hands will find it cramped over a full day, and it has only three buttons with a plain line-by-line wheel. Its receiver is a basic nano receiver rather than Unifying, so it cannot share a dongle with a keyboard. For a laptop bag, a spare desk or a school computer it is the sensible default. Our mice for small hands guide has more compact picks.
- About 44,900 owner reviews at 4.5 stars
- The cheapest dependable wireless mouse Logitech makes
- Fits either hand and any laptop bag
- One-year battery and plug-and-play
- Too small for large hands or long desktop sessions
- Three buttons only, no Back and Forward
- Receiver is not Unifying, so it pairs with this mouse only
Logitech MX Master 3S Performance Wireless Mouse - Graphite With Bolt Reciever

The MX Master 3S is the mouse Logitech builds for people who live at a desk: a sculpted right-handed body with a thumb rest and a second scroll wheel under the thumb, a MagSpeed electromagnetic main wheel that free-spins through long documents and stops dead when you need precision, and Quiet Clicks that cut click noise by 90 percent. The 8,000 DPI sensor tracks on glass, it pairs with three devices over the included Logi Bolt receiver or Bluetooth, and Logitech Flow moves the cursor and files between computers. At 141 grams it is heavy and it is strictly right-handed and large. About 8,800 owners rate it 4.6 stars. For the full story, read our Logitech MX Master 3S review.
- MagSpeed wheel scrolls 1,000 lines a second and stops on a pixel
- Quiet Clicks and glass tracking
- Multi-device with Flow between computers
- 4.6 stars from about 8,800 owners
- Heavy at 141 g
- Right-handed only and large
- Expensive next to everything else here
Logitech M330 Silent Plus Full Size 2.4 GHz Wireless Mouse - Black

The M330 Silent Plus is the mouse for a shared office, a library or a partner who sleeps while you work. Logitech’s SilentTouch switches remove more than 90 percent of the click sound while keeping the same tactile feel, so you still know you have clicked. The body is full size and contoured for the right hand with rubber grips, one AA lasts up to 18 months with auto-sleep, and the USB-A receiver works with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux. It is a three-button mouse without side buttons or Bluetooth, and left-handers are out of luck. About 25,100 owners rate it 4.5 stars, and the reviews are almost entirely about how pleasant it is to use a mouse nobody else can hear.
- Over 90 percent quieter clicks with the same feel
- About 25,100 owner reviews at 4.5 stars
- Comfortable full-size right-hand contour
- 18-month battery
- Right-handed only
- Three buttons, no side buttons
- No Bluetooth
Logitech M720 Triathalon Full Size Multi-Device Wireless Mouse - Black

The M720 Triathlon is the mid-priced answer to the MX Master: it pairs with three computers and switches between them with a button, connects over Bluetooth or a Unifying receiver, and runs 24 months on one AA so you never charge it. The hyper-fast scroll wheel flies through long pages and stops instantly, with a switch to notched scrolling, and six buttons are programmable including a thumb pair. Logitech Flow lets you drag text and files across machines. The body is full size, right-handed and rubberised, which is comfortable but shows grime after a year. It lacks the MagSpeed wheel, thumb wheel and glass tracking of the flagship, but at a fraction of the price about 13,300 owners rate it 4.5 stars.
- Switches between three computers at the touch of a button
- Both Bluetooth and Unifying
- Hyper-fast scroll wheel and six programmable buttons
- 4.5 stars from about 13,300 owners
- Right-handed only
- Not as refined as the MX Master
- Rubber body picks up grime over time
Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse Ergonomic Design - Graphite

The MX Vertical turns the hand into a handshake position at 57 degrees, which Logitech says reduces muscle activity by 10 percent and takes pressure off the wrist, and about 15,100 owners who rate it 4.4 stars largely agree. A 4,000 DPI sensor means the cursor crosses a screen with a quarter of the hand movement of a 1,000 DPI mouse, and a cursor speed switch under the finger toggles precision mode. The textured rubber surface and thumb rest suit a range of hand sizes. It is right-handed only, feels odd for a week, and is not a gaming shape. If your wrist aches at the end of the day, it is the Logitech to try first. Our ergonomic mouse for wrist pain guide compares it with vertical mice from other brands.
- Handshake grip takes pressure off the wrist
- 4,000 DPI means less hand movement
- About 15,100 owner reviews at 4.4 stars
- Textured surface and thumb rest
- Takes a week or two to feel natural
- Right-handed only
- Vertical shape is awkward for precise gaming
Logitech Signature M650 L Full Size Wireless Mouse Large Sized - Black

The Signature M650 L is the modern replacement for the M510 for people with bigger hands: a large sculpted body with a soft thumb area and rubber side grips, a SmartWheel that scrolls line by line and flips into free-spin when you flick it, and SilentTouch clicks that cut noise by 90 percent. It connects over Bluetooth Low Energy or the included Logi Bolt receiver, which puts it on the newer Logitech ecosystem, and one AA lasts two years. The side buttons are remappable in Logi Options+, and the same mouse comes in a smaller size and a left-handed version. It does not switch between devices like the M720. About 7,500 owners rate it 4.5 stars, and it pairs naturally with the Signature K650 keyboard.
- Large version for big hands; small and left-hand versions exist
- SmartWheel switches scroll modes automatically
- Silent clicks plus Bluetooth and Bolt
- 4.5 stars from about 7,500 owners
- Side buttons on this version suit right-handers
- No multi-device switching
- Plastic feels ordinary next to the MX line

Unifying, Logi Bolt or Bluetooth?
Logitech mice connect three ways. Unifying is the older 2.4 GHz receiver (M510, M720) that shares one dongle with up to six Logitech devices. Logi Bolt is the newer, more secure receiver (MX Master 3S, M650) and does not mix with Unifying. Bluetooth (MX Master 3S, M720, M650) needs no dongle and is the way to pair with a tablet or a laptop with no USB-A port. The M185 and M330 use a simple receiver tied to that mouse. If you already own a Logitech keyboard, match its receiver type and free a port; if you use an iPad or a thin laptop, insist on Bluetooth.
Which shape fits your hand?
Compact ambidextrous mice (M185) suit small to medium hands and left-handers. Full-size contoured mice (M510, M330, M720) suit medium to large right hands for long desk sessions; the M510 body is ambidextrous but its side buttons favour the right thumb. The M650 comes in large, small and left-handed versions. The MX Master 3S is large and right-handed with a thumb shelf, and the MX Vertical reshapes the grip entirely. Gaming players with large hands get the G502; those who want a light mouse should look at Logitech’s G PRO line in our wireless gaming mice guide.
Silent, fast-scrolling or multi-device?
Three features separate a cheap Logitech mouse from a dear one. SilentTouch clicks (M330, M650, MX Master 3S Quiet Clicks) remove 90 percent of click noise, which matters in shared rooms. Fast scrolling, either the hyper-fast wheel on the M720, the SmartWheel on the M650 or the MagSpeed wheel on the MX Master 3S, saves real time in long documents and code. Multi-device switching (M720, MX Master 3S) lets one mouse drive a desktop and a laptop with Logitech Flow moving files between them. Decide which of the three you will use daily and buy the cheapest mouse that has it.
Which Logitech mouse is best for an office?
The M510 for a plain desktop mouse, the M330 Silent Plus if noise matters, the M720 Triathlon if you switch between computers, and the MX Master 3S if you want the best wheel and the quietest clicks in one mouse.
Is the MX Master 3S worth it over the M720?
If you scroll long documents all day, work on glass or want the thumb wheel and Quiet Clicks, yes. The M720 does three-device switching and fast scrolling for much less and runs two years on an AA, so for many people it is the smarter buy.
Which Logitech mice are left-handed?
The M185 is fully ambidextrous. The M510 body fits either hand but its side buttons are on the left. The Signature M650 is sold in a dedicated left-handed version. The G502, M330, M720, MX Master 3S and MX Vertical are right-handed only.
Do Logitech mice work with Mac and iPad?
Yes. Every pick here works with macOS, and the Bluetooth models (MX Master 3S, M720, M650) pair with an iPad as well. Logi Options+ software handles button customisation on Windows and macOS.
Is the G502 Hero still good in 2026?
For MMO, strategy and general gaming, yes: eleven buttons, a flagship HERO sensor and nearly 59,000 reviews at 4.6 stars. For competitive shooters it is heavy and wired next to modern 55 to 60 g wireless mice.
