I have tried other digital food scales for my bread baking but this one is the best. all the others I have returned for not being accurate, but this one is accurate. The battery lasts a long time and is so easy to use with lots of options for any measurement in any recipe I may need. It seems to be made well and even when I dropped it nothing seemed to happen to it.If you bake bread and use grams this scale is for you! The tare option works very well for adding ingredients to the mixing bowl without having to make multiple items dirty.

Great scale: even better than my last one.
My previous scale stopped working and I needed to buy a new scale. I would have purchased another of that model, but since it was unavailable I decided to try out this scale, and I'm glad that I did because it's awesome. The scale stabilizes on a given reading more quickly and it stays on longer without shutting down to save battery, so I like it better.

Precision Scale Up to 33 Lbs.
I ordered and received the Vitafit 33lb/15kg Digital Food Scale in High Precision 0.1oz/1g. This is a digital, thin, black scale with a tare function. The tare function allows you to zero the scale after you place a bowl or plate on it. That way you do not have to do any math. The scale will tell you the weight of what you place on the plate. I am surprised that a small kitchen scale like this can weigh up to 33 lb! I carefully placed an 8 lb. dumbbell on the scale and then a second one. It easily measured the 16 lb. (All my larger weights are cast iron and I do not want to put that on a brand
